Our corovin duvets are made from a polypropylene outer fabric and filled with anti-allergenic hollowfibre. This hypoallergenic polypropylene outer is a non-woven fabric which is durable yet lightweight and represents great value for money, yet still ensuring comfort and warmth.

These duvets are channel stitched to ensure the hollowfibre filling is secure and wont move to one particular area of the duvet, ensuring an even fill across the duvet. These duvets are machine washable and able to be tumble dried on a low heat setting.

What is Tog?

Tog is the degree to which the duvet retains heat. It’s essentially a measure of how warm it will keep you during the night.

Duvet tog ratings range from tog 1 to tog 15. The higher the tog, the better the heat retention, meaning you’ll be a lot warmer if you opt for a higher rating. The most common tog found in Europe is tog 10.5 and this kind of duvet is often used all year round. However, for others, they’ll switch out their tog depending on a range of other factors, such as season, bed sizes, and the age of the person using the bed.

Which Tog Should I Choose?

Our duvets are filled with layers of processed hollowfibre, which means they provide warmth without weight. The higher the tog, the warmer the duvet. Lower togs, such as 4.5 tog and 7.5 tog are ideal for warmer summer months, while higher togs, such as 13.5 tog and 15.0 tog are ideal for colder winter months. Please remember: tog rating is about warmth, not thickness of a duvet!

What duvet size should I get?

We recommend that you choose the duvet size that matches the size of your bed. For example, if you have a double bed, a double duvet will be the best fit. If you share a bed, you might want a larger duvet so there's plenty to go around. In this case, if you had a double bed choose a king duvet for that extra amount of duvet.

What type of duvet is warmest?

Down duvets: Down is the best natural insulator providing approximately three times more warmth than synthetic materials. Soft and fluffy, down is very durable and provides the highest levels of warmth in a duvet
